Going through some old coins I came across this George II halfpenny that I did not know that I had. Is it worth anything in this condition?

Thanks

Pretty worn it is, however it is around a couple of dollars to an Era collector. They're very very scarce in higher grades and relatively common in such. My Seaby's catalog gives $2,50 in G/F condition. It is the last copper Halfpenny struck under the reign of George II.

If it needs a new home, let me know I could always trade it with anything I can give.

Looks more like a Farthing to me. Are you sure it's a Halfpenny.
Diameters are approx 28mm and 22mm respectively.

Diameter is 22 mm. Does this make it a farthing then. Later farthings are much smaller 18mm

Good catch, argentumandcoins! It is absolutely a farthing.
By the way they minted farthings for several years after 1754 with this frozen date.
