Not that I know of. I am real close to buying one of these. I'm nervous due to the refund policy and looking at half of his/her feed backs it is from one person....I dont want to get ripped off

Here is an artical on the Quarters. Looks like PCGS is going to start slabbing these as well. Also from the artical, it looks like some were even found in the US Mint sets with a Satin finish. I know I will be looking at my mint set when I get home :o)

Any opinions?

No. These will never be as high priced as the WI varieties but there are already eight different of these extra tree dies known and it's not impossible one or two will be scarce or rare. It is very unlikely any will be as scarce or as desirable as the extra leaf coins.

MAybe you should contact the seller and ask if there is a return policy. Sometimes sellers forget to put return policies
Rest in Peace

Seems that the only winners in this newly-discovered error game are those who first found the coins and a few who bought (or found), then sold early. Later entrants seem to get the short end of the stick. My thought is to wait a year or two or three when the numbers of such error coins are less vague and buy after the market has stabilized.

Laxmaster92, here is what they have in the return section...

Return Policy Details: As ebay is a true auction, all Sales are Final. Please be sure of you bids before placing them with ebay as we can not be responsible for mistakes made other than our own. Thank you.

I think I will wait. Seems like more and more are being found.

I would not have the ones I have but I got mine before they were deemed a true variety and I paid 20 bucks a peice for mine (which was kind of a gamble because I didn't know if they would ever be deemed a true collectible) I usually wouldn't even bother with things people claim to be a error like this but I just thought it was weird that it had an extra tree in there (or atleast looked like it was an extra tree) and figured I would email the guy who had a few on ebay at the time (the original descoverer of the variety) and make a offer for a few of them and he would either tell me to go jump in a lake or accept it, I just got lucky and he accepted my $20.00 offer. I have been offered 375.00 a peice for them but since I bought them for my kids (and just because I wanted one) I declined the offer. This was while they were selling for 400+ on ebay though and before the other 7 different die varieties were found

Well I just bought an Unopened 2005 22 piece Uncirculated Mint set for $17.95 on ebay. According to the article above and I see a few on ebay, the extra tree error has been found in some mint sets.....So now I am hoping that there is one in there....
