Adam this is where knowing the strike characteristics of certian coins and certian years of certian series comes in handy.

look at the rim for a clue to the grade of this coin

I'll go with F-15 to possibly VF-20. Metalman is right (in my opinion) concerning the need for knowledge of striking characteristics for many of the early date Lincolns from 1909 to the mid-1920's.

I agree with metalman, and go VF-20

I think some of the details are weak, from strike not wear.

obverse- strong "IN GOD WE TRUST", "LIBERTY" and date. rims are not worn down.
Lincoln is weak on detail, it is from strike not wear.

reverse - wear only on the lower parts of the wheat stalks,(high points)
Also good rims, motto is strong.

Overall - No major problems with this coin.
Some wear on Lincoln, hair and ear and wheat stalks - VF-20

I could go low VF on this one, as well. Nice example.

Welcome to CC!

Try taking your pictures straight over head instead of at an angle. You also need to crop them down to just the coin. We can give more accurate grades that way.

VF-20 (looks to be separation between the cheek and jaw)

I'll also say.. VF-20, with a slight chance of 25.

Nice coin.

20. The reverse goes 25 in a heartbeat but the obverse holds it to 20.
