I Am Looking At Getting A Detector... Any Ideas?

pattiewhack Pillar of the Community Canada 1152 Posts	Posted 07/26/2006 12:21 am Hello everyone. I am looking at getting a metal detector. but need some advice as to the best one to get at under $300. Preferably one which can seek 1 foot below the ground. Any Ideas? Report this Post to the Staff

The key is to find one that will cover all the bases and that you won't feel the need to upgrade anytime soon. It also depends on the kind of treasures you are looking to find. Metalman Pillar of the Community United States 7123 Posts	Posted 07/27/2006 12:01 pm Hi Pattiewhack The site looks ok to me, I didnt go all the wya through for a total with shipping and all, If you go to whites metal detectors home page they have dealer finders you can check and see if the Guy is a registered whites dealer,, more than likely the others also have a dealer finder from their company page also. I have heard good things about the Garretts ace 250, but I'm a whites person , so that is always the direction I point folks. Rick Report this Post to the Staff
