This looks kind of funny to me or is it a nice Half Cent. With copies we need to be careful. Something about the perfect shading around the eye and that eye just looks funny to me.

If its not fake, its definitely been re-engraved in places (at least I think so).

It may just be the photo, but it looks all wrong to me. The details look too strong to me, and even a bit out of proportion. Also, the color is too perfect.

I personally don't see anything wrong with this coin. The classic Half Cents have rich hair details normally. If this coin is a fake it is a really good one and could have fooled me.

I personally thought it was a pretty nice looking Half Cent. It is not available anymore. I was maybe going to buy it but let it go to a higher bidder. Thanks all.

Looks good to me too wheezy. My area of concern would be the inconsistency of wear between the stars, and the hair. Tooling may be suspect.

Now here is another from the same person, new today. The color and dark areas look very similar. Something tells me there is something new I want to learn.

That one looks better, but be careful. Fakes are often heavily circulated to remove suspicion. And the hair still does not look quite right.

Everything matched up right for the first one to be a C-1. It does appear that the dies were lapped a bit excessively.
The second one matches all the attribution points to be a C-2. The coloring is consistent with a long ago cleaning and retoning.
I think both coins are good. The 26 probably cleaned and recolored., The 28 cleaned and naturally retoned.
