redrhino Hello and welcome.

Liberia as far as I know has not issued any gold coins dated 2002. They do issue gold plated silver coins in a $20 denomination. I also do not recognize 1/4 as a denomination used in Liberia. Their standard is a Dollar and the gold plated 2002 issues were $20 proofs.

Of course it is always possible to gold plate or paint any coin after it leaves the mint so a picture is really needed before an indentification can be made.
