I just do not see anything listed with the doubled (1) Both 1's are doubled but the first one Ray Charles could see!

VAM 1X (EDS). I am assuming that the D mint mark is just very light and you weren't able to pick it up well in the photo.

No Scribbles or gouge line, The chin looks like it could be the 28 But why would the (1) not be listed? I am sure LVA would of put that in his listing. Maybe the mint changed out the rim die on a different die pair? I think I should start too look at the listings without (Wide reeding) AKA Infrequent, just to see what turns up.

It's a 28. The doubling on the 1 could be machine, or it could be just plain unlisted. Don't expect all of the pickups you find for a given VAM to be listed; very, very few have been studied in that depth.
