I would put it at a g-6. It has a bit more detail in the hair than a g-4 would have.

My VG8 has less detail but more rim and it's grade PCGS
You might get VG8 out of it. The date is pretty easy to read. Yours is great compared to what is available out there in lower grades. I searched hard for a clear date and sacrificed the details some on my choice.
I like your coin. I would value it on VG8 levels anyways.
Here's mine, you might use zoom.

I agree on G6 with a slight possiblilty of VG8

Thanks guys - guess I did better than I thought since I got this (effectively) for just over $1. Bought a 25 coin lot for $25 with tiny pictures for just this coin.
