I need help to identify this medal. I am pretty sure that it is french but I would love to know what it was created for, when and what value it might have. It is about the size of a Morgan silver dollar and I believe it is silver.

Braemt is a wellknown coindesigner in Belgium, one of the greatest. There is a large collection of his coins and tokens in Brussels at the National Bank of Belgium.
