I am not sure about jealous, since no one has actually seen my collection except for images, but I know there is a subset of toned lincoln collectors that drool over my PCGS 1944 67RB Pop 1/0. I guess I am proud of my entire lincoln set. I guess I like my 1909-S 65BN Pop 8/0 the most.

Here in the Philippines, a lot of Filipino coin collectors are looking for a 1906-s and 1906 proof USPI peso. The gold Alfonso 4 peso is also a must have. The 1828 Manila counterstamped 8 reales are also famous in search. Given the chance of its availability, I will still try to buy these ones.

A few of my coins give me a lot of pride. Not because they are worth a lot (a couple have decent value) but because they came from my Father.

I have a few from my family as well, that are not worth much but I love them. one is a 1982 24kt gold plated quarter. there are so many good coins out there I was just wondering of them are classified as must have.

I would have to say my MS-67 1964 Accented Hair Kennedy... I found it at a fledgling coin shop labeled for $7, so I brought it up to the owner and he said he made a mistake, and good find... $7 later I was walking tall...

For me there are two different ones that I really consider my best. About 30 or more rolls of 1943 Lincoln Cents from way back since they were all given to me by my Dad. To me those are worth more than a so called precious coin although would not make anyone really drool. Second is my 10 1916D Mercury dimes. All in Albums now. Way, way back when I was a kid there was a coin store near where I lived and I always stopped there drolling. One day there was a dish in the window with 10 1916D Mercury dimes for $1.25 or $1.50 each. Not sure which anymore since that was about 50 years ago or something like that. Don't know where I got all that money but I purchased all of them.

I've got a small laminated cent collection that I'd never part with.

Anything made of silver or gold! I think a better answer would be complete sets. You can still build almost complete sets of most anything on the cheap. The key coins will of course drive the price up but with enough searching and patience you can get a great key on the cheap as well. Best wishes on your search! Sincerely, John Leckrone
