That seller, IMHO, is a certifiable head case. He's listed other fairly common error coins and varieties for ridiculous prices before.

Also, looks harshly cleaned and/or overdipped out.

I appreciate the comments about the silver content. If I were considering a $60,000 coin, finding out it is made of ACTUAL SILVER would definitely close the deal.
What a crock!

Quote: isn't great you can buy Jesus in a Box or a coin? or a can? would that be nice? Actually, it's funny you say that. I'm not a hard core religious-type of any denomination, but I had to have a bronze prutah from Pontius Pilate's reign in Judea for exactly this reason. No, Jesus didn't touch it, use it, look at it, spit at it, or anything... BUT it is a REAL relic that can be traced with some certainty to within a few miles and years of one of the most (if not THE most) significant historical events EVER. Even if it immediatly left Judea or got buried in dirt and was never used, it came out of the mint there. To me that is fascinating, and for that reason, this little crumb of bronze is one of my favorites in my collection. =) That's awesome (in a very literal sense of the word, for me). RE: this nutcase? Yeah pathetic. "None of the TPG's would certify this as authentic"... hm, I wonder why... Could be YOU'RE BRAINDEAD. Oh well.

I've been to one world's fair, a picnic, and a rodeo, and that's the stupidest thing I ever heard.
