This sounds like a nice ending to a potentially horrible occurrence.

I do believe "Man" is basically good.

I'm glad to hear it to. I recently misplaced $600 cash as of saturday and dont have the slightest clue where it is, so I've experienced the same sick anxiety feeling. I'm now at the point of accepting that it is either lost or stolen.

I have lost far more then that in the Global Financial Crisis. I am taking my superannuation very soon, and I have lost perhaps $300 per week for every week, for the rest of my life.

Its not back yet. I'm starting to get worried. However, the buyer was from Idaho, so it could take awhile. Still should not take THIS long. I asked him to send it registered. Is that really slow? I don't know if he did actually send it that way.

I sent a package from Alabama to Colorado by registered mail once......it took almost 2 weeks. Every time it changed hands it had to be signed for & evidently the weight of the paper trail makes it extremely slow.
Rest in Peace

That would explain it, if it was indeed sent registered mail.

I've had the same experience with registered mail. It's a really secure method, but really slow.

Glad everything worked out for you. Hope the coin gets back to you safely. While there may be a lot of scum out there, there are some really good people too.

If he sent it to you registered he should be able to give you a tracking number and registered mail will tend to show up in the tracking more frequently than other methods do (More then just received and delivered.) And if it is registered an it shows up in the tracking as received by the Post Office you WILL receive it (99.999+% certainty) as long as it is addressed properly. And even if it is addressed improperly they will know WHERE it was delivered (unlike with delivery confirmation) and they can try to retrieve it.
