Anyone know if this is Lathe, trail, gas bubbles or something else?
The fact that they make lines is really throwing me off!

Could that be oil that had been accidentally dropped then smeared onto the planchet from the coin press just prior to being struck?

At first I thought it was die polishing, but after a second look the lines continue over the devices. So it may be rolling lines (which are most times thinner) or plating issues.

I call them linear, evenly dispersed, plating bubbles. I do not have a reference photo (yet).
