Hey everyone - I just got back from my month in Ecuador! It was a truly amazing experience... I have picked up a few coins that I dont know much about . I do know, however, that each coin is pure silver. They are:
1873 UN SOL FROM PERU XF+
1891 UN SOL FROM PERU XF+
1880 UN PESO FROM CHILE VF+
1934 UN SOL FROM PERU XF+

Anyone know any prices?
Thanks!

I'm not too sure if they are PURE silver. Most probably alloyed, but those are fascinating coins.

Terrific! But, I hope that you
brought back more than 4 coins!
A boat load is more appropriate!

Nice to meet you!

Wow I bet that was fun. Did you get the coins from a shop or a flea market?

haha yes, I did bring back more than 4 coins! I have many old sucre coins in all denominations, old sucre banknotes, and many modern centavo coins.

I thought you were just mentioning
the highlight coins. It was just
a doing a little light teasing and
saying hello at the same time.

Welcome back. While you were gone, we started a photo gallery for our members. Maybe you want to post pics of your new coins there?
