I have to agree that you can definately sell a coin for more on
ebay than you could at a coin show for the same reasons mentioned. Another thing if you haven't already sent in back in to PCGS and have it attributed I would also do that because it seems once the "pro's" say its a specific
VAM it automatically becomes worth more even if you show every picture of each attribute showing the buyer that it is indeed a specirfic
VAM. I had the VAM-16 that I had on here unattributed on
ebay and showed the attributes clearly on
ebay and it wouldn't sell for 200.00 (which was my starting bid) I sent it in to PCGS for attribution and it sold for 350.00 on
ebay within 1 hour of placing it on there and that isn't even a TOP100
VAM, the only thing that caused it to go that high was PCGS has started a Major and Super
VAM set in their registry and people are looking for registry coins already attributed, or they are looking for the major rip which they know its a
VAM and the guy that owns it doesn't and they buy it for regular price of specific date/mint mark (excluding the
VAM) and then they can get it attributed and it be worth double that amount or more
