Does anyone know what design will be used after the Statehood Quarters are finished? Will they return to the Washington design? Also, I've heard that the nickel design won't revert back to the Jefferson profile that we've known for years. Any info? Thanks. Mark

The 2006 forward looking Jefferson is here to stay. As for as the quarter program, a proposal is being circulated in Congress to add an extra year on to it to represent DC and US territories for a total of 6 ( I think) more quarters in 2009. After that, I have no idea.

I just got one of those new nickles, the back is the same as it was for years and the front Jefferson is looking forward. I thought it was a misprint at first. To me this is ugly. I liked the old Jefferson.
