I'd open them. As far as you know they are all just mixed up coins. Sort of like saying I have a stone in my shoe and it hurts when I walk but I'm afraid to look because it may or may not be glass. Silly similarity but curiousity will drive you nuts.

Look at it this way, it's a roll of nickels. It's not a mint wrapped roll so there is no way of knowing what is in the roll. We can't say for sure they are all one date and mint. we can't say for sure they are all Unc, we can't say for sure that they aren't just mixed dates. Therefore they are worth.....face value. Since they are just face value you can't lose anything by opening it. You aren't likely to gain anything either.

Actually I can say they are all one mint b/c there is a seal on it that says "D"mint, And the packaging itself certifies them all to be BU. I'm not hoping to find anything, just wondering what everyone else would do with them. Libertad you say No, why?

O.K. Opening them now. So,I was wrong about the year, they are all 2006 "d' mm with bright toning. Can brilliant uncirculated coins have bag marks or minor scratches on them on them?

The way I understood it was that they are unopened rolls straight from a bank? (I somehow assumed they were all one year). I suppose you're not trying to sell them. Many responses on this forum are rooted from what that person would've intended to do instead of the OP. Based purely on responses, you can easily separate the sellers from the roll hunters, the investors from the metal detectors... (although it's a wider spectrum than that and you can be simultaneous things at once).
My initial guess was that you're trying to find an MS-65 or close. I would save that for a roll of a year that is harder to find in that grade.

This roll was a bday gift, and having opened it I am very happy. There were several MS-65 coins in this roll. And being that they are the first year of that design is even better

Seeing as to how this roll of Montcello nickels is from the world monetary exchange, then it is no surprise they have bag marks on them (scratches and small gouges). A roll of BU from a US mint roll will display what is called "roll rub" slight wear on the highest points i.e. the cheeks. There may also be some very slight markings as the coins are dumped into a hopper for rolling. You should preserve the coins either way. You can store them in a pvc free plastic tube or indivicualy in mylar flips.
As you stated, the first year of that design, as with all coins, the first year of issue is always the most valuable. Keep them.
