I can't find it listed in the SCWPM.
It's a 1 Dollar Silver Certificate series of 1935 but the only ones listed are the 1935A, B, C etc. Mine does not have a suffix letter. So which reference? Thanks in advance for any help.

hmm... Doesn't the 1935 A also have Julian - Morgenthau sigs? And the dates are in different places than usual...

Can I ask where you got it?

From one of my suppliers here in Thailand. I've no idea how she came by it.
I know next to nothing about US notes and can only go by the catalog which is why I'm confused.
I also have a 1935D and 1935E but they're straightforward.

Yeah... I can't say I know a lot about US notes either, but I did a quick search on ebay, and I haven't another 1935 yet (only 1935 A, B, C... G)...

It's also the first one I've seen with the dates in those positions.

Hope someone here with more knowledge will be able to chime in soon.

Thai,
Yours (KL # 1452 / FR # 1607) does have a premium compared to the others with the ending suffix in the series date. Post over on the US side for a price as I do not have any thing from a price perspective. I would hang on to it.

Also, any idea on my Ceylon notes (last post) the 2 and 5 rupees same condition with QE II - 1950's

Any thoughts on the GBP question I posted below.

Thanks

Hi Vic.....All aspects of your note are normal, and all details are exactly where they are supposed to be. It is authentic. The bad news is that it is a very common note (liken it to series 9, one baht). It holds no premium until the condition approaches EF (XF). Here is a picture of another for your comparison:

Thanks everyone for your inputs. I didn't think I'd have a rarity (I only paid the equivalent of about $1.30 for it).
I was just wondering why it wasn't listed in the main Krause catalog.
