Anybody got 13-5 I can have?
As long as it was someone else's money, I would buy these in a heartbeat.

Wow, that would solve a lot of searching. But then thats half the fun in collecting.

How long do you reckon it took him to find all those VAM's?

I've been gone for a few days, but can't help myself when it comes to Morgans.
If the seller really wanted to sell them, he would have started much lower. Not too many folk are gonna bid in an auction which starts at 13.5K. In this instance, nobody did.
Nice collection, nevertheless.

Ditto for the second collection. 5K as a starting bid isn't gonna bring many (or any) bids. This is an auction, not a store. Most Morgans (and most other coins) in auctions just aren't gonna get bids when the seller starts out so high, even if the price is reasonable. I've seen true auctions for identical coins go for a lot more than the high start prices or Buy It Nows while the BINs and high start prices go begging. Maybe in both these auctions, the seller was just testing the waters, but he's a new seller, so he'll eventually learn.

If he broke up the lot and started the auctions at 99 cents he would have made some mula!

laxmaster, this is very true, even for auction lots containing only one high-value coin ("bait") with the rest being low value or junk coins that a seller is just trying to dump. However, this seller's start prices are so high that he is almost guaranteed of not selling anything. It's possibly he's just trolling for some sucker buyer with a lot of bucks to save himself the effort of listing them one at a time. If he's sincere about reducing his "surplus inventory", we should expect to see these VAMs again on ebay, either singly or in smaller lots (with one or two bait coins and the rest in each lot being of lesser value). At that time, we should see some lively action with lots of zeros after the dollar sign! Fred

Very good point fred. Ive seen auctions start at a penny and go up thousands in the first day. The low starting price entices buyers to keep bidding on the item.
