I actually came across a real 1804 large cent. Worn VERY badly. I sold it to someone and they LOVED it. Looking back now, I wish I would have kept it.

Someone who bids just to get the price to some unreasonable amount and then doesn't complete the transaction. There are people who use that method to stop these fakes from being sold as genuine. Unfortunately, after 3 NPB's, you get booted off ebay. Many of the sellers don't complain because they know they're selling fakes, but sometimes they do.

I got an email back from Lesley at ebay.ph. According to her, the listing was not pulled because it didn't violate any of ebay's policies. I guess that means that it's okay to sell counterfeits on ebay.ph.
