Wow this is my area thats a 2001 silver buffalo dollar comemorative and its unc ms-69 about 150.00 dollars but if you bought it ungraded it will be around 120.00 dollars and if you want change the title and Say "Crystalk can you help me with this Buffalo" and I'm sure he will help you since he is a REAL buffalo collector and this is his best area of coinage

Yes, I will be glad to let you ship that buffalo to my address for permanent and safe storage!!! I believe, in my humble opinion, at this time the MS-69 would probably book around the $175 level. I do know the raw coins are in the $120 range as BuffaloBoy has stated. I prefer raw coins so slab prices escape the old memory bank quite often! None the less it is one of the GREATEST commemoratives ever produced by the U.S. Mint and MINE are NOT for sale!!! Every herd needs a leader!
Rest in Peace

Wish I had one of those.

It would go nicely with the 2006 gold proof Buffalo I just bought.

Are you sure you don't want to sell me one Terry?

You know Gary, I thought the same thing as Terry about the silver Buffalo being the leader of the pack, but now that I've seen the gold version, it makes me wonder why I ever thought it was all that great.
The gold Buffalo coin is heads and shoulders above the silver version.IMO

I guess they made the silver version to satisfy us poor folk.

Wow, we agree...... the gold proof blows away the silver proof which is in itself an awesome coin.

peace.

I wish I could see the difference in the two in person, but I'm too poor to own either one. Oh well, my parents told me that they'd get me a gold coin for christmas. I'll see if I can convince them to get me a buffalo.

Well Shatsi, the truth be known, at the time my wife and I ordered 78 of the silver proof and unc. buffalo dollars. Of course we purchased for quite a few friends and when prices escalated we sold quite a few off but I still believe there are around 9 of them left here in the house. My problem is everytime my dealer buys one it takes all my will power to walk away from it!!! I have buffalo silver rounds (much cheaper), almost two complete sets of Buffalo nickels (starting another) and sooooooooo many rolls of last years Buffalo nickels that I don't know what I will ever do with them. Also purchased a roll of 2005 buffalo proofs and two rolls of satin buffalos last year. You would think I would never have to mow the grass with all these buffalos around. Also have an old buffalo medallion around here as well. Buffalo hide in the living room and a skull on the wall and I play, and build on occassion, Native American flutes! Hooked pretty bad!

Speared buffalo...just three! Two graded and slabbed with C.O.A. from the original finder of the error and one raw. Yup a lowly 3 but I guess thats better than none.
