first off - I may have found a 1957D 1MM-009, as listed on coppercoins site. the die markers are not conclusively present, especially on the LDS, photos, but I think it might be the correct attribution. opinions are appreciated. second the rim or the coin narrows - or tapers somewhat at about the 2:00 position. the tapering is present on both sides of the coin. is this a clipped planchet coin, or what is the correct description of this. third - if anyone can give an approximate grade for this coin, that would be appreciated. I know I have only posted a photo of the obverse, but am only seeking an approximation, not a precise grade. after all - it is NOT a highly valuable coin. thanks for looking.

You're correct: 1957D-1MM-009. It is also a clipped planchet, but generally when it only affects enough to thin the rim, we call it a "rim clip". Looks like an AU50 coin, but it's hard to tell if the wear on the cheek is rounded or slightly flat...the difference between EF and AU.
