Hello,

Please check out this coin and give your opinion in terms of a grade.

The measured weight is 11.73g, measured diameter is 30.73mm, and measured thickness is 2.31mm.

Also comment on whether you feel this coin is real or not.

If it does not appear to be authentic, indicate where you feel the questionable areas are found.

Thank you

Just out of curiosity, why are you asking if all the coins your posting pictures of look real and if not, explain the areas that don't look real? I don't mean anything by this. It just strikes me kind of odd that you ask this question on all of your post and most of them are higher dollar key/semi-key coins. Then again, it could just be the fact that I'm pulling an all nighter studying for classes that I have to attend in 3 hours.

From your spec description, it seems a bit thicker and lighter than what the US mint makes. Your instruments may be off, but it's enough to cause some concern. The coin looks "grainy" too, almost cast like. There is enough going on to sound off some alarms.

Looks suspicious. The skirt lines are too bold for this date and apparent level of wear. The look of the head seems "off". The left edge of the breastplate sticks out too far and it seems engraved around the edges. The letters of IGWT look abnormal. I'd vote for "not genuine".

What is the source of your suspect coins?

Hi folks, this is my 1st time on board. I agree with the previous poster wondering why the asking of board members if coins are fake or not. Most of the coins mdpmedia is showing do not look real. This is a concern in itself. If I'm out of line I apologize.

well you can't go off saying that the OP is a counterfeiter and trying to make his fakes better.

back on topic, I would like to see a picture of the edge of the coin.
