Anyone here know how to value coin silver spoons? I recall looking at the markings on some of these and matching them up to the makers. Some were pre-Civil War and some were late 19th century. What's the best way to sell them?

Thanks for that site. So far, I could only identify the Hoyt spoons which are 1822-1846.

Once you identify the makers you can check ebay for going rates. Common ones sell for around melt & go up from there. If you identify a really scarce maker you might want to try an antique auction house.

I have a few spoons like that. I'll have to dig them out & see what they are worth.
