What have those of you who have the 7070 put in that spot? Any ideas or pictures welcomed.
Thanks in advance for the suggestions!

Well, I am in the same situation as you...And I have not decided yet.
I really like the 2001 American Buffalo, but I guess everyone else does too. It has a UNC/Proof mintage of 500,000, yet it is the priciest modern silver dollar I see around.

I put the 1986 Statue of Liberty Commemorative in that slot. My reasoning was: 1) It was one of the early $1 commemoratives 2) I really like the design 3) The Statue of Liberty is an icon 4) I really like the "Give me your tired, your poor..." statement as part of our national heritage.

You could do a lafayette dollar, but those are pre-1983 and are expensive in good condition.

2008 Bald Eagle, so you have a silver eagle next to the "silver eagle" Actually, I do like the 1986 Statue Of Liberty in that spot. A nice design and a Great American icon.

I just noticed after all this time that I have a 2003 Silver Eagle in there and I always told myself that I wouldn't put anything with a later date than 2000 in this album, so I guess I will be swapping that out with a 1995 or 2000

I put the 1986 Statue of Liberty in mine. I'm not big on modern commemoratives & used the only one I had on hand when I got my 7070.

I am currently planning to use the 1990 Eisenhower commemorative. The Eisenhower dollar is my favourite series, so this makes sense. Since I already have the proof version of this coin in a 1990 Prestige Proof Set, I would acquire an uncirculated specimen for the 7070. I briefly considered the 2009 Lincoln commemorative. I have the 2009 Lincoln Coin and Chronicles set, so again I would opt for the uncirculated version for the 7070. I am pondering the (proposed for 2013) Reagan commemorative. At the rate I am going, it might me 2013 before I can make up my mind anyway.
