I voted American Eagle from those choices, but I actually prefer Englehard 1 oz. bars.

AS the question regards "bullion" and not collectables, I voted Canadain simply because the exchange rate is slightly lower which doesn't affect buying much unless you buy in large volume. But as to the best bullion, well Engelhard ingots are a sure thing.

Not to highjack the thread, but where do you guys purchase your bullion from? I am interested in buying the foreign .999 coins and oz bars as well.

that's a hard poll. I collect all of the above with the exception of the Kookaburra. I just can't get into those. my favorite are the chinese pandas. I just started collecting the somali elephants as well. I tend to favor those designs that change yearly.

Silver is just silver, but you'll still have a harder time selling generic rounds than ASEs. It just depends on what empire you buy into. If people knew anything about silver they would all just be generic hunks of metal.

I voted ASE because that is the only one I own.

Ain't that the truth! If it has to be a coin, I have to say proof ASEs. Just about every one of mine are DCAMs.

My ex-wife collected Silver Panda's and I have to say they are really nice coins and have some good looking designs. I do like the ASE but I like that the Panda's design changes. The ASE would be my choice for bullion but for a collector coin that is also a bullion coin from this list I would have to chose the panda

I had to go with the American Eagle since the Silver Britannia is only 0.958 fine.

I selected the American Silver Eagle since it is the only one that I have, and the only one that I have is in my 7070. I do not collect bullion, but I will admit that all of these choices are attractive for different reasons. If I did collect bullion, I would probably have a difficult time picking a favourite. Therefore, I would probably still choose the ASE by default.
