mycrob Pillar of the Community United States 2602 Posts	Posted 09/27/2010 5:30 pm 1917= VF+ close to EF, nearly full horn 1918= F Folks should note that Red Book softened it's grading standards on Buffalo nickels a few years ago, so there may be a lot of variable responses on grading these coins. For example, my grade of F on the 1918 could be VG to many by the older and stricter standards. Report this Post to the Staff
