Interesting planchet flaw, what would you guys grade this one at? IMO VG-8 maybe 10? I like how the "H" is clearly visible, unlike most of these!

This is the NF2 portrait and IMO in poor condition,
and I would consider the grade very low. The lowest grade given in Charlton is G-4, I think it is Lower than that, perhaps near melt.

I disagree, IMO AG-G is something more like this:

I disagree too.. it looks more like Fine to me..

Shame about the planchet flaw..

I would definitely go with VG-10. The 5 cent pieces are in a separate grading category of their own compared with the 10 cent and 20 cent pieces.

A 5 cent portrait and 20 cent portrait would grade differently even if the wear looks the same since the 5 cent pieces don't start out with the amount of detail that the 20 cent pieces do.

But with a
Planchet error.. there is a term for this which I forgot..... getting old...
maybe peeled planchet ?

i have 1873 NFL silver five cent with a hole graded G-4 so I give yours the same grade
