I need some feedback as to whether or not this coin appears to have some issues.

Please note the obverse perimeter especially between the 'IN' and 'B' and if you can observe any other unusual characteristics anywhere.

This coin weighs 26.67 grams, has an OD of 38.00 mm ,and has a thickness of approx. 2.72 on average.

Its side rim also tested positive for 90% silver using an acid test on a slate stone substrate.

Thank you

What are your concerns about it? The weight and diameter you provided are correct, especially considering the wear.

Unless I am missing some kind of a rare VAM variety (which I know next to nothing about), nothing is jumping out at me as being unusual about your coin. I see a genuine 1922 Peace dollar that has seen its fair share of wear and tear, but I don't see anything wrong with it. 1922 is by far the most common year for the Peace dollar. It is not a commonly counterfeited date if that is what concerns you. 1922 Peace dollars in that condition are generally treated as silver bullion.

What is that blue strip on the obverse in Liberty's hair and on the reverse just above the eagle's head?

I am wondering that myself, but if you look at the pic of the reverse, you will see that it extends beyond the rim.
