One of the reasons I posted this one is Planchet Striations are a norm on this type of VAM.

This type VAM was the first legend letter transfer found and also has the D and O of dollar and the mm clashed on the obverse. The reverse is neat I think because unlike most E crashers this one has no boll clash or hair Vee or nose transfer on the reverse.

I have been starring at that last picture for a while now Russ.....fascinating. I need to do some more starring, but my head is ready to explode from this onslaught of info I have been hit with today. Will continue starring tomorrow. Later Russ.

This one and an other 86 O single E clasher are going to NGC next week. I will VAM them for them as sometimes they seem to mis ID'ing many. LOL AU 58 and above would be OK. But from what I have seen of the O strikes MS62 is what I am hoping they come in at.

Russ, I am excited for you, this coin exhibits some beautiful clash transfers, very sweet....PS Cherry-picked? I also find the fact that some common clashing is NOT present on your coin!Good Luck.

I'm new to VAMs, but I'm a 40 year coin grader....Beyond AU breast feathers are too nice, it's Uncirculated unless that isn't glare on the leaves .... Very nice! Good luck!

In fact, I'm going out on a limb and say Unc.+ unless those cotton leaves are worn

They are flat but I think that this is a norm on this type. Soft strike and the clash certainly did not help the obverse die by the bolls. It's a slider and from everything that I have read all are like this and that MS-63 is likely too be top pop.
