Hi,

I bought this coin in one of those airtight sealed plastic mylar mini bags with the hope that this it would at least grade out to a MS60.

Please grade this coin for me.

Thanks

IMO it's either AU50-55 or MS60-62 somewhere), but it's hard to tell with these images. Any chance of getting higher resolution, especially the reverse? The obverse looks pretty clearly to be MS.

Was it cut out of a 1963 Mint Set?

It looks like a MS 63 to me. I wish the photograph of the reverse were bigger and more detailed.

Here's the bigger and more detailed reverse photo that you all requested.

Please address the outstanding issues as previously discussed.

Thanks to all

There appears to be wear on the reverse (steps, top of columns) along with quite a few hits in the center. I'd go EF45.

I'm guessing that it was one of those Littleton Coin Co. bags with the printing on it and not from a mint set?

Light wear throughout plus tons of "chatter". Pictures do not show much luster. I would say it is a nice EF45 nickel. Good down payment on a soda :)

How much did it cost you? Numismedia has the circulated value at .06 in all grades but it jumps to .18 in MS-60.

I paid a very hefty premium of $ 0.02 for a grand total of 7 cents.
