sometimes I just wonder where these people read stuff to make them think their handful of coins are worth so much money. If a 1884 Morgan dollar is worth that kind of money then I'm selling wonder if he's buying also, I will sell him my whole collection for half of his starting bid and he can make a fortune

joe zero is in a timewarp How can you have kept a coin from 1884 for centuries otherwise? That would still be 2 centuries to make it plural and 200 odd years to make it correct

I just love the description and the pics. No grade, no feedback, no pics and $50,000. Maybe he's quoting some obscure currency where $50,000 = $1 USD!

Maybe ebay software went mad again Europe and the US have an inverted convention on commas and dot decimals to me 12,300 is between 12 and 13 on ebay europe and is over 12 000 on ebay com yesterday I bid 12,33 by mistake on ebay com putting the european comma anotation and lucky me I saw ebay made this 12 330 dollars in the confirmation window ( wow I better watch out But I can sincerely claim I was never ever in my life going to bid 12 330 dollars for a 3 months introductory to an investment magazine

It appears this guy has no idea what ebay is all about. Somebody has sold him a bill of goods that he can get rich on ebay by merely selling old things. I wonder if he's just a kid with no concept of monetary value of coins. Fred

This is the sort of thing we have to put up with all the time in NZ. I have seen a 1913 typeII Buffalo nickel in g-vg condition up for $200 and someone bid on it!!
