From a sealed bep pack and have never seen one like this before (1st note in brick). It has been explained to me as a "thumb" impression of the person handling the sheet.

I picked up a fresh, unc 100.00 pack from my bank yesterday and the top bill, had basically the same distortion/smudge mark on the # in the same location, the explanation seems very possible........PS Could any one give me a site where I can check how many bills were printed for any such year, with serial #'s included, Thanks in advance, Mike.....Also is there any value to any crisp unc bills with 5-6 of the same #'s in the serial #? IE: 55005055......

Heres a good one

http://www.uspapermoney.info/serials/

EDIT: Oh and yes there can be a slight premium if there is a fancy serial number. The one you posted would be a binary because its serial number consists of only two numbers...0 & 5

Money, Thanks for the site info, I have done some research and have much to learn about ALL the currency I have, I have been instructed to locate a book titled, "The Comprehensive Catalog Of you S Paper Money", by Gene Hesseler, should answer most if not all of my concerns, Thanks again, Mike....
