What do you think it clashed with? It looks like 3 raised wide lines then to the right of those are two arcs that look raised on the side against the rim. The coin is extremely sharp, almost like it was struck twice, and looks to be in top condition as well. The clash marks should line up to some part of STATES oF if it struct the reverse die. Are there any signs of the clash on the reverse? Very nice coin!
Rest in Peace

Not too sure. If you click on the link it will explain more on the site. They have this one listed.

I think your coin is Die Fatigue or something of that nature

Doe it look kind of like the tops of the letters inside the rim between UNITED above the "IN GOD" to anyone else except me?

i always thought it looked like some letters too but it can only be matched to columns. If your good at pictures, try some overlays and experiment around. This is still a very new discovery. Maybe a month

Numismo - yours is Die Deterioration.

Kloccwork - I see what you mean by this only matching up with columns - but how does that explain what appears to be a rim running off to the right from the anomaly? Just asking, cause I don't know the answer.
