I purchased this from the coin shop for $35 yesterday. Though it isn't a super high grade, I really fell in love with the look. It has blazing luster, and a beautiful tone going on that isn't commonly seen on Peace dollars. I actually replaced the MS-64 toner in my 7070 with this one...I just really liked the look. Opinions?

Gorgeous coin has to be one of the best struck 1923 Peace dollars I've ever seen. MS-64?

One of the nicest Peace dollars I've seen, if not for the chatter it would be an easy MS-64 and perhaps MS-65. But the chatter brings it down a bit I'll say MS-63 also.

I have to reluctantly also go with MS-63. I agree with the phenomenal strike! Great detail in all aspects. If not for the unfortunate chatter on the face this would be a totally outstanding Peace dollar.

Thanks for the comments! And I agree that MS-63 is an appropriate grade. Maybe it would get a + from a TPG. I love it in my 7070. :-)

That is a sharp strike and nice toning. I agree w/the 63 grade. And you did a great job on the pic!
