In addition to grading this coin I would like to know what error number corresponds to the extra finger error shown in my attached photo.

Please also tell me what type of price range I could expect when selling this coin.

CDDR-002"Crawford attribution" / WDDR-001 "Wexler attribution". They sell for $12 on ebay. As for grade need to see the obverse.

It is not an error, it is a die variety(specifically a doubled die reverse, DDR). Errors are unique to every coin but die varieties are transferred from the die to however many coins that particular die strikes in its lifetime.

Being that I don't care for error coins I wouldn't be able to help you with this coin, but I'm sure there are error specialists out there who can give you expert advice on the cent!
