Yes you are right. I've been reading old coin values magazine and comparing it to the present ones, MS60 & MS64 are the ones with higher percentage of increase in cost.
Same thing happened to me when I first started getting Pillar Dollars. I was fascinated by it being big silver coin until I got bored too because of so many fake ones that surfaced out. Then I realized that the value of money - if you were into investment line of thinking will not be feasible on these type of coins. Thus I went for new ventures trying to enjoy owning new types of coins

Pandesalapi I am new in Morgan collecting and I find very informative a book by David Bowers ''A guide book of Morgan silver dollars''.If you already don't have you must acquire a copy.
aladinslamp: ep.op is the first letters of my job.I work for the Greek army and everyday I hear that word.Is small and I find it good enough to have it as a nick name in all forums.

I find Morgan collectible and inexpensive in high grades.At least the common dates

I think that 1887 Morgan has no toning when slabbed.This patina come after because of the anacs slab.I see many time gorgeous patina's on old anacs slabs.But I am new on Morgans so I am waiting for your responses

It is possible that the coin toned in the slab - they are not airtight - but it did not tone because of the slab. They are deliberately made of an inert plastic which cannot affect the coin.
