I am asking if there is any good or reason to keep coins with the rim that looks like it has been pushed over. It looks like the blank has been dropped into the slot, and it is punched a little off center, and the extra copper has been pushed over the rim. I have found several in the box of pennies that I checked over from the bank. Is this a coin worth keeping? I hope that it can be made out, the parts that I am asking about are from the center of both sides of the penny to the top of the coin. If you cannot see what I am trying to show, I will try something else, having trouble using Irfanview. If this does not work, I may have to give up trying to send pics.

Not really as far as a error type coin IMO this has little to no appeal...

I find pennies like that quite often and have wondered too. They look
a bit misaligned in the striking and thats been what I've been guessing
makes these effects.

I've read posts and in sites mentioning something about them not being really
worth any premium unless the misalignment causes some design/devices to be missing or effected, like lettering etc. Then I guess its the more design effected, the more the premium? Maybe an expert can chime in here about what causes this and whats worth hanging onto ... I've been wondering too :)
