Bear with me as I try to hone my grading skills.

I went with VF30 on this one - what do you think?

There is a hit on the "N" in UNITED pushing metal up toward the top of the letter.

I dunno. The obverse is nice, especially for a Seated coin - LIBERTY is strong and the head looks like a strong strike with honest wear. The reverse is weak, though, by comparison. If I worked for a TPG, I'd be more like, "20 or 25."

I think VF25+ is about right.

Thanks for the input! I don't feel so bad now, at least I'm in the ball park.

I've always had a tendency to undergrade, so I tried to compensate maybe a little too much!

I think this is better than VF-25, because of the lack of heavier wear on the corn kernels and shield strength. I'd say XF with a bad strike.

I believe this coin to be a VF-30 to EF-45

Very nice dime VF-30 to EF-40. No lower! I do not believe it has sufficient detail on the Obverse to make EF-45.

MNGC would go with VF-30 for this one.
