Is that rim damage at 10 o'clock (reverse) showing up at 2 o'clock obverse?

If you plan on getting it graded to confirm to you that it's an arnprior then do so but I think that you run the risk of it being returned to you with the comment that it's been cleaned. And if it comes back with that, it will be discounted. I think that I would not get it graded but wait for a coin that truly deserves that type of attention.

1955 dollar... I would NOT spend the $$ or time on a third party grading.

It is definitely the Arnprior variety, and it looks like at least the start of the die breaks between the ATI on the obverse, which is the scarcest variety listed- pricing (2009) MS 60-$200, MS63-$$350, MS 65-$725.
