Great article.

This should be a sticky topic.

Hi folks. I just joined to thank you all for the attention the coin community has given my guide to ebay photography over the last few years. I'm not a collector myself, but wrote my article in response to coin collectors on ebay who asked for help with their photography and it has become the most popular part of my guide.

I also wasn't the one who introduced the idea of axial lighting, but this part of my article seems to have drawn the most attention. I must admit, I stole the idea from the field of forensics and later found out others had used it for coin photos.

I really should update that article, as coin collectors have shown me many ways to improve on the idea over the last few years.

Again, my thanks for your interest in my work.

Jim
