I've had this one for a few years now
Thought I'd put it out for you guys to see if it
would get the attention like that 1936 dot on e-bay
It has one on the neck too
I think they are die chips, what do think guys?

Gas bubble under the plating. They can occur in any place even on devices:

Thanks Richard , I've seen that bubbling on another coin but can't find it right now
I still go with die chips
Please more opinions.

Poke it with a toothpick. If it's a die chip, it won't pop.

I would be more interested in the right hand columns of the memorial on the reverse.

I think if it was a damaged die we might have seen more of them, it is pretty obvious. Perhaps it is just really old, from April of the year 199, or ahead of its time from star date 199.4. I think it is probably a plating bubble. It is small enough that it won't pop easily and it may be mostly filled depending on exactly how it formed.

Then I hope that people keep looking at 1994's so we can find more
I'll still keep it and see what the outcome is years down the road
Thank's everyone.

That could also be a small hole in the die caused by some sort of cleaning tool. At any rate it's not really any sort of error or variety.

At least not as long as no others show up. This is one of my five 2008 uncirculated SAEs. See that small shiny spot on the flag beneath Liberty's arm? That is on all five coins exactly the same which is a pretty good clue that it came from the die. This just shows that an anomaly like this little bump on a cent could be a die artifact.
