Anyone have a good theory on the demand for the Moose?

And why is something considered sold out if the actual mintage was 1/2 the planned?

Oh that... in my chart this represents the status at the coin shop (J&M). They don't have any in stock, and rarely do. This coin was not a sell out at the Mint... none of them were, except for the last one, the $10 whale coin.
