Can't make out any of the lettering on the obverse and can't pin down whose bust.
The reverse has the emblem of the Order of the Thistle with the motto - NEMO ME IMPUNE LACESSET... "No one attacks me with impunity".
It's 25mm in diameter and weighs 6.99gms. About the size of an 18-19th century farthing/halfpenny.

It's Scottish. A copper 6 pence (equivalent to an English halfpenny) of Charles II; the date, to the left of the crown, appears to be 1678. KM# 115.

Between the accession of James I in 1603 and the Act of Union in 1707, England and Scotland shared a monarch but still had separate coinages. The Scottish shilling was pegged 1:1 to the English penny.
