I had to post this one. He's got two pictures out there - one of a full view of the front and one of the top 2/3 of the reverse where you can't even SEE the bell lines!

Check it out:

I was going to email this fool, but there's no option on the page to contact the seller. Never seen that before; it's yet another downgrade of the ebay experience.

I can't use the words here with which I'd like to describe my thoughts.

Oops.

They changed the format, yet again, and I've just dented my reputation with the people I report problems to at ebay.

OK. Recovery mode. I contacted the seller, with the equivalent of, "whut?"

It does have full bell lines.

You can see the lines all the way around the bell very clearly. :)

This is turning into a rather interesting exchange with the seller. I'll update you all when it's finished.

The amount of wear on that coin from the pics he has posted there is absolutely NO WAY that has full bell lines. He obviously has no idea what a FBL Franklin is.

Well, he blew me off, so I reported him.

1953-S Franklins with FBL are far and away the rarest FBL's, worth 100x more than the same grade without. Of 597 offered, Heritage has only ever seen 19 FBL's, and chances are some are repeats. An MS66 is about a $225 coin; a PCGS MS65FBL went for $32,000. They're *that* rare.

They're important enough that a beginner could learn about them before learning how to attribute them. As far as I'm concerned this listing is no better than an 1804 Dollar counterfeit, and just as dangerous.
