I got this at an auction on Sunday and almost was able to buy a 93-CC VF for $180, somebody must have woken up...Both were near the end of the auction and all the gold had sold...oh get this..(3) $2 1/2 Gold Dollars. First sold for $680, next sold for $890, and last sold for $1,700! The last was the nicest, but MS63 at best...the other 2 had been cleaned. Let's just say the Auctioneer is going to have a Merry Christmas. Oh yeah coin and grade anyone? *the marks on the rims near the bottom are from a coin easel:

I moved this to the 'Classic US Coin Grading' forum. I am sure more of the regular graders will see it there.

It's a very nice looking coin. I'm going to say MS-63 only because I see what looks like two rim dings on the lower obverse. Otherwise the coin would make MS-64.

Thank you jbuck for putting the topic in the correct forum. echizento, the appearance of the two rim dings are not hits, they are actually the tiny black easel that I put the coin on to take the picture. I would have to say you guys are pretty darn good at photo grading. It was labeled MS64 and I believe that it actually is an MS64 (by PCGS, NGC, ANACS) ...Some other market grading may be different. Thanks all for the kind words. Not bad for 140 bucks in my opinion.

with todays standards, it needs to be 65+ just to make 65, its surely a strong 64, though I can't tell how much slight wear is on the cheek...
