Picked up this one too as my consolation prize he had a stack of these all equally bashed up ranging from $45 to $170 so I chose the $45 one :) I think it's MS-60 territory but I don't deal with 60 to 62's enough to really know the difference.

Hard to really tell from the pictures, but from what I can see it looks to be MS-62.

its also a VAM-84 from what I can tell in the pictures, I don't see any clashing so can't say its a VAM-84a (could be there but would need a better picture). 62 or 63 sounds about right. This was the very first VAM I ever purchased even before I understood what a VAM was, so this same type of coin was the start of my VAM collecting

Thanks I'll get some high resolution scans tonight to post to the VAM area

EDIT: I broke out my magnifier and confirmed VAM-84. Has the line under the 8, Washed out L, and the bad D.

You can only see a few pixels of it, but the dash under the 8 is a dead giveaway.

Nope no need to magnify the pics, as soon as you see that dash under the 8, and it has a long arrow shaft, its a VAM-84
