On the other hand, the denizens of these fine fora are omniscient.

I believe that these were issued by The Royal Mint in London and although were not meant for circulation were legal tender

It does not look like any of the Silver Jubilee Royal Mint issues to me. I'm guessing private mint maybe Westminster but I really don't have a clue.

I do not believe this was legal tender in any country. Just a Jubilee medal. The effigy reminds me of a design that was used on NZ dollar coins for a couple of years and then abandoned for unknown to me reasons.
