I found three rolls of 2009-D Jefferson's in the store strong box last night. I bought them under the impression that they were still hard to find (I may have found two in circulation before last night). Are they still hard to find across the country? The 2009 Dimes are still illusive to this area of West Texas. Edited by oih82w8

I have never found a 2009 P nickel in circulation and I live in PA. I had to buy a roll at under $30.00 and I am glad I did, I think?
I understand that the D's are easier to find but still tough.

I'm in Michigan and I have not found a single 2009 nickel and less then 10 dimes.You made a good find.

In Wisconsin, I've only found 2 Denver Jefferson and 0 Philly in over 400 rolls.

I have found two 09 Jeffs, and only 5-6 09' dimes.

In Chicago - 5 each of P&D 2009 nickels, but that's after going through about 48 boxes. The dimes are slightly less common than 2010, but by no means rare. I'd hold on to those 2009 nickels.

I have yet to find any 2009 nickels in circulation. I've found one 2009-D dime in the past year and that's it. Luckily I bought rolls off ebay so I have them. |

I havnt found any 2009 nickels in change or roll searching but I dont search that many nickel rolls. I have gotten some 2010 dimes both P and D mint and 1 2010 D mint nickel I live in North West Indiana.

I found three '09 dimes the other day while searching the odd $50 of rolls.

I am still in disbelief about the whole 09 coin craze. But, cpmngrats on the find I would imagine they will be worth something later on.
