I'm calling him tomorrow. 99% chance these are all copies but some of them look like good copies. Not sure the best way to handle this because they don't appear to be marked copy. BH1964 Bedrock of the Community United States 10982 Posts	Posted 12/18/2010 11:44 am I talked with the seller and he has added a lot of information to the auction after having them examined yesterday. He said if the auction has not exceeded $10K tomorrow, it will be ended early. The guy really believes the coins are genuine but knows some are harshly cleaned. He said they all weigh in an acceptable range and are 38.1mm in diameter and none are marked "copy" or "replica" or anything and grade between Good and AU. I mentioned to him that they could be copies made of silver and he acknowledged that possibility but does not think that is the case. Might make a nice roll of silver rounds for somebody but not at $10K! ANA #R3154474 Report this Post to the Staff
